The team at HIVAN regards you, the reader, as
a valuable asset in the struggle against HIV/AIDS.
It is only through communicating with each other,
forming partnerships and sharing information,
skills and ideas that we can find answers to the
many problems being faced every day by those infected
and affected by HIV/AIDS.
We offer SONDELA to you and your community as
a means of uniting the many different individuals,
organisations and projects who dream of, and are
working for, an AIDS-free society. Your contributions
are welcome, in any form. Tell us about your situation,
your work, your strengths, your contacts, your
experiences and your thoughts about this newsletter.
Do you have suggestions for effective networking,
better treatment and care services or clever ways
of helping those in need? We will publish as many
of your contributions as we can, in the hope that
others will benefit from your knowledge.
Join our database & mailing list: HIVAN is
compiling a database of names, contact details
and activity summaries of individuals, organisations
and projects working in the field of HIV/AIDS
in KwaZulu-Natal. We want to make this register
available to as many people as possible so that
anyone needing such information can use it as
a directory. The register will be accessible through
our website and, as funds permit, in paper form.
If you would like to be listed in this register,
or know anyone else who should be included, please
contact us. Also, if you wish to receive additional
copies of SONDELA, or if you can suggest new drop-off
points for the newsletter, let us know.
